As time passes and you climb the rungs in your career ladder, your aspirations are likely to change. So go through your goals at least once a year and see what you have achieved and what needs to be replaced. Timely reviews of your goals will help you get a clear insight into which direction you're heading now and how far you've come from the last career goal review. Perhaps, you've outgrown some of the goals or have new aspirations. Going through the checklist will also let you enjoy all the things you've achieved so far. Be dedicated, have patience and work consistently
Your goals might take some time to materialize or it might come off relatively easy. No matter what course your dreams take, you should be dedicated to your job and have patience while you work. If you vacillate and have no patience or commitment to work on your dreams, then you're definitely not going to accomplish any one of them. A good mentor can help you in numerous ways. There's a huge amount of things you can learn from their successes and also from their failures. Your mentor could be someone from your family, your boss or someone you admire from the industry you work in. When you find someone you have a high regard for, work on building a good rapport with them and make the most of their friendship. You need a mentor to guide you and help you make good decisions. Ask questions, listen to their advice, exchange ideas, and share opinions with them.
