Matrika Yadav named party coordinator

JANAKPUR, July 23: The First Central Meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has formed a 21-member central ad-hoc committee with its leader Matrika Yadav as coordinator. Nineteen members have already been inducted in the committee and the remaining two will be added later.



The meeting was held from Monday to late Wednesday at Janakpur Cigarette Factory hall. During the meeting, the party members discussed the report presented by Yadav and deliberated on the party statute. Some 14 separate groups have been formed to study the report and present recommendations for the statute.



Those selected in the central committee are Yogendra Sah (Dhanusha), Jagat Yadav (Siraha), Dilip Sah (Siraha), Sudhir Yadav (Rautahat), Parmananda Barma (Banke), Mahesh Prasad Yadav (Saptari), Prahlad Rajbanshi (Morang), Rampreet Yadav (Sarlahi), Darshan Rai (Khotang), Shishir Khadka (Rukum), Balram Rai (Khotang), and Nawaraj Dhungana (Nuwakot).



Similarly, Amar Rai, Jogman Lama, P L Shrestha, Kishun Mandal, Devsaran Yadav and Manoj Yadav have been selected as central members, Coordinator Yadav said.
