KATHMANDU, May 12: The Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) lawmakers obstructed the regular business of the parliament on Tuesday also. The lawmakers chanted slogans demanding apology from President Dr Ram Baran Yadav over his directives to Nepal Army General Rookmangud Katawal as a condition to run the parliament.

It´s the fourth time the parliament failed to convene due to the obstruction from the ruling Maoist lawmakers. Speaker Subas Nembang has not yet been able to read out the president´s message to political parties for forming the next government due to the obstruction in the parliament. The Maoist has formally decided not to allow the process of forming the next government enter into parliament until an apology from the president.
