This comes a day after the party pulled out of the government and announced that they would launch peaceful protests against the move made by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav to block the dismissal of army chief Rookmangud Katawal.
According to the District Administration Office, Ramechhap, the Maoist co-in-charge of the district, Rajan Dahal issued a statement in which he warned that those who failed to leave the district by the set deadline would face severe consequences.
The statement ordered the NC and CPN-UML cadres-- who were "mobilized by India" and who "supported Indian expansionism"-- to leave the district.
The statement, however, has not made clear as to what kind of action the Maoists would take against those who failed to leave the district in the stipulated time.
Left alliance strong in Ramechhap, but challenges remain
