KATHMANDU, April 8: A secretariat meeting of Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Wednesday morning expelled Sujit BK, who is accused of murdering Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) worker Prachanda Thaiba.

"The secretariat meeting has expelled BK from the party and instructed the party to begin a search for BK and hand him over to police," the party´s senior leader Narayankaji Shrestha told myrepublica.com. [break]

The second largest ruling partner CPN-UML has been obstructing parliament sessions demanding that the government bring BK to book.

The parliament failed to enter into its regular business Tuesday as CPN-UML and the main opposition Nepali Congress boycotted the meeting. The UML charged that the government failed to arrest the murderer.

The UML Rupandehi district member Thaiba was killed on March 26 in Butwal.
