KATHMANDU: In a sheer mockery of human rights, Maoist victims were arrested from the gates of National Human Rights Commission in the capital on the 60th International Human Rights Day, Wednesday. The victims had reached the commission to submit a memorandum demanding return of their seized property and rehabilitation, among other things. About 60 of them were arrested even before they could enter the commission premises.
