KATHMANDU, May 5: Parliamentary Party meeting of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) decided to disrupt the parliament meeting as a protest against other political parties pressure to prime minister to step down. The meeting held Tuesday morning decided to strongly protest President Dr Ram Baran Yadav’s move against the cabinet decision to sack army chief Rookmangud Katawal.

The obstruction will continue until the president apologize at the House for his mistake, party leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha said. Party spokesperson Dina Nath Sharma said the party will not attend the all-party meeting called by Nepali Congress and CPN-UML to discuss formation of a new government.
