Nepali Congress is not for betraying Nepali people extending CA tenure in the present political context.

On the occasion, NC leader Nahari Acharya said NC and UCPN (Maoist) equation is possible if it was necessary saying it is only the alternative for peace and constitution writing. It is not only the alternative to conclude peace and constitution writing process but also necessity, said Acharya.

Similarly, another leader of NC Dr. Minendra Rijal said to conclude the peace process, management and integration of Maoist combatants was the first condition.

For this, UCPN (Maoist) itself should be serious and be ready for forging political consensus correcting its weak points, said Rijal.
