KATHMANDU, March 12: The seventh division of the Maoist People’s Liberation Army in Talband in Kailali district has continued with troops recruitment process ignoring the orders by the Supreme Court and the Army Integration Special Committee to stop the process, according to Kantipur FM.

The division on Wednesday distributed application forms to 500 job aspirants and some of the applicants were disqualified by UNMIN during the second round of verification, radio reports said.
Division commander Mahendra Bahadur Shahi said the division has about 3,000 vacancies and they will be filled. Earlier the Unified CPN (Maoist) headquarters had said recruitment has stopped in the PLA. Shahi a.k.a. Prajjwal is a hardliner and had earler threatened revolt in the PLA demanding bulk entry for all Maoist combatants in the Nepal Army.
