Many fake examinees held in Jajarkot, exams of 198 students cancelled in Saptari

JAJARKOT, March 23: A total of 35 fake examinees were arrested from Lipsa examination centre in Jajarkot district on the fourth day of the ongoing School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations.

The identity of fake examinees was confirmed while checking their admission cards before the beginning of the exam. The fake examinees were replaced with the original ones immediately.


Meanwhile, in Saptari district, exam of 198 students was cancelled and eight invigilators were expelled from different examination centres today on charge of their undisciplined conducts.

A joint monitoring team led by Chief District Officer, Birendra Kumar Yadav, and District Education Officer Laxmi Prasad Bhattarai, cancelled the exam of the students and expelled the invigilators, according to the District Education office, Saptari.

A total of 344 remained absent in today's exam, added Bhattarai. Fourteen thousand and 261 students are appearing in this year's SLC examination in the district.

Likewise, 83 students and three invigilators were also expelled from six different exam centres in Mahottari district. RSS
