A single bench of judge Lekhnath Dhakal issued the order in the name of Kumar Pahari of the then Chhaling VDC in Bhaktapur district for murdering Biswaram Thapa. The body of Thapa was found buried on September 15, 2011 after five days.
Pahari confessed the crime where locals Gokarna Thapa, Deepak Thapa and himself killed Thapa then buried him. They also took away Rs 10,500 and a mobile of Thapa.
Pahari, who had gone to foreign country, was arrested soon after he returned to Nepal.
Records keeper at the Court, Khadgaraj Adhikari, said that the court slapped lifetime imprisonment along with confiscation of all property, Rs 39,000 in fine and four more years in jail for theft to Pahari. RSS
