KATHMANDU, April 9: A Malaysian tourist is reported to be missing since Sunday while on trek in the Pokhara-Mustang route in Western Nepal.

Dennis Lee Thian Poh, a professional businessman, went missing since Sunday in the Ghorepani area of the Khopra Danda trek while he along with his group had covered two-third of their way through the trip.

The group was travelling from Khopra Danda to Duerali. The group had already reached the highest point of their trek and this was the first day of the descent. It was at some point during this part of the trek that Dennis went missing.A search party of 35 people had been dispatched to find the missing Malaysian on Tuesday. In addition to this team, independent search and rescue teams have been sent out but the inclement weather has caused delays. Jennifer Eileen Peters-Lee, Dennis's wife, has sought help from the administration to trace the whereabouts of her missing husband.

The family members have requested to notify them via email finddennis@yahoo.com if any information of the missing man is reported.
