NarcoticDrugs Control and Law Enforcement Unit arrested 36-year-old Marina Binti Jamaluddin (Passport No. 34891381) while she was en route to Doha from Kathmandu via QR 641 flight. She was on her way to Italy.The cocaine was concealed in five different laptop bags arranged properly to give a laptop shape.
During a preliminary investigation, the Malaysian said that she was asked to travel via Nepal for security reasons. She travelled from Brazil to Doha, Doha to Kathmandu and was planning to travel Rome, Italy, her final destination.
According to police, cocaine costs around Rs 15 million per kg in the international market.
