Leopard barges into human settlement, injures two in capital

KATHMANDU, June 29: Two people sustained injuries in an attack by a leopard at Gokarneshwor-12, Narayantar on Sunday, police said.

According to police, Bigyan Kumar Lama, 47, of Ramechhap and Guru Prasad Khanal, 79, of Gokarneshwor-12 received injuries in head, face and neck as they were attacked by the wild animal that barged into human settlement.

The duo was taken to Shankarapur Hospital for treatment and the District Forest Office took the leopard under custody.
