POKHARA, March 15: Two people were injured in the leopard attack. On Wednesday morning, a leopard that entered the Kalij farm attacked the locals whereas the leopard that attacked has been found dead.

A leopard entered the Tulsi Kunj Kalij farm, which was operated by Dhruba Thapa and others, located in Bhakunde, Pokhara Metropolitan City-18. The leopard attacked Sri Krishna Malla Thakuri, 28, of Kaski Rupa Rural Municipality-4, who worked in the same farm.  

While leaving the farm, the leopard also attacked 32-year-old Rajesh Timilsina. The police said that both of those who were injured in the attack are being treated for their injuries. According to DSP Bed Joshi of Ward Police Office Baidam, the injured were brought to Metro City Hospital for treatment.

The leopard that attacked the man was hiding in the bush. However, Joshi said that the leopard was found dead in the bush when the local residents, police and forest office team tried to control it. The dead leopard was handed over to the Department of Forestry.
