Community Development Association, Lions Club of Balaju Height, Lio Club, Women Awareness Forum and Settlement Improvement Committee jointly organized a spiritual speech program in Balaju.
Former Acting Chief Secretary and spiritual thinker Mukunda Sharma Poudel stressed on the need of walking in the footsteps of God Shree Krishna and all should engage themselves in good works.
Meanwhile, Shree Kirshna Shobhayatra was organized by Sri Krishna Pranami Sewa Samiti, Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh and Sanatan Dharma Sewa Samiti to mark Krishna Janmashtami. The rally started from Bhadrakali Mandir and rounded Sahid Gate, New Road, Indra Chowk, Bhotahiti and concluded at Khula Manch.
On the occasion, Energy Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat said the country cannot be developed without religion and spirituality.
