BAGLUNG, Sept 20: Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) Jhalanath Khanal has stressed on the need for a new common understanding among the three major political parties to complete the constitution drafting process on time. “The country might face an accident if the big three parties do not forge a new understanding,” said Khanal while addressing a function in Baglung.
“It was on the basis of the 12-point understanding that the election to the Constituent Assembly was held and monarchy overthrown. Why should the parties not forge a new unity for the writing of the new constitution?” Khanal questioned.
