Kathmandu, Lalitpur start with win

KATHMANDU, July 6: Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Lalitpur Sub-metropolitan City started with a winning note in the First Inter-Metro Volleyball Tournament that kicked off Monday at the covered hall of National Sports Council.



In the inaugural match, Kathmandu eased past Dhulikhel Municipality in straight sets 25-9, 25-13, 25-11. Likewise, Lalitpur registered a comfortable victory over Thimi Municipality in straight sets 25-23, 25-16, 25-21.



The tournament is organized by Nepal Volleyball Association.
