The tournament to feature 12 teams from capital will be played in league cum knockout format, states a press release issued by the organizer on Friday. The participating teams will be divided into four groups and the winner of either group will qualify for semifinal.

KATHMANDU, March 28: Nepal Kyokushin Karate Do Association is organizing 18th Men's and 11th Women's National Full Contact Karate on April 3 and 4 at Tripureshwar in Kathmandu.
The event will feature open weight category in men's section and U-55 kg and over 55 kg weight category in women's section.
The organizers have expected participation of 145 players including 80 male and 65 female players from across the country. The top four finishers in male's section will bag purse of Rs 30,000 Rs 15,000, Rs 7,500 and Rs 3,500. Similarly the female players earning top four positions in both weight categories will also be rewarded with cash prizes.
