In the match played at the Buddhi Bikash ground, Kasturi, one of the two clubs from B division districts, scored one minute from time to salvage a draw and halt MYA´s winning run in its fourth match.[break]
Following the draw, second-place MYA missed the chance to go level on points with leader Sankata. After playing equal four matches, MYA has 10 points while Sankata leads the table with 12 points. Kasturi climbed one spot to fourth with five points from a win, two draws and a defeat.
In Monday´s match, Kasturi took the lead through Binod Kumar Chaudhary in the 10th minute but could not hold on to it for long as Ranjit Tamang scored the equalizer for MYA in the 33rd minute.
Nischal Basnet made it 2-1 for MYA in the 62nd minute and seemed on course for victory. But MYA had to be content with a point as it conceded the equalizer in the 89th minute.
In another match, Trinity Club of Syangja upset Birgunj Youth Academy to hand the latter its second consecutive defeat. Trinity scored in either half to register a 2-1 win over Birgunj, one of the title contenders, and open its account.
The result left Birgunj in the third position with two defeats and two wins. Birgunj has six points while Trinity has three.
Janga Bahadur Rai opened the scoring for Trinity in the 43rd minute. But Krishna Shakya leveled the scoring seven minutes into the second half. Prem Ale Magar then scored the winner one minute from time to seal three points for his team.
