KATHMANDU, March 11:  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has dismissed concerns about his age, stating that despite turning 74 and undergoing multiple surgeries, he remains in good health. Addressing the Koshi Provincial Assembly on Tuesday, Oli emphasized that the government listens to the people and is committed to driving national progress without unnecessary controversy.

PM Oli said that there is no need to raise his voice loudly as the government listens to the voice of the people. He said, “This government does not need to say anything loudly, the government listens and responds in a quiet voice. This government is not just formed to govern, it is formed for the people.”

He said that the government is working with the determination to change the face of the country and that he does not want to get involved in unnecessary controversies. He further maintained that he has come forward with the determination to change the country from his struggling background.

“I came to the government with the goal of changing the face of the country and leading good work. I do not want to make any fuss, I do not want to debate. I am in favor of listening to the people and working for the people,” PM Oli said, “Sometimes people do not understand things, that is a separate matter. However, I always talk about national unity, because this is the basis of the country’s prosperity.”
