Journo Regmi dies of heart attack

KATHMANDU: Young journalist Tara Regmi, 26, of News 24 TV died of heart attack on Tuesday. According to family sources, Regmi´s sister and neighbors rushed him to Tribhuvan University (TU) Teaching Hospital after he complained of chest pain early morning.

The hospital pronounced him dead upon arrival at around 4 am. Regmi, son of Sewakram Regmi and Tika Regmi, was born in 1986 in Tulsipur Municipality of Dang district.[break]

He had been working at News 24 Television since its establishment as an anchor and producer. He had returned home after reading the business news at 11 pm on Monday.
