Journalist missing in Doti

DIPAYAL, July 26: Shiva Oli, a local journalist, has been out of contact since 11:30 p.m. on Saturday after a group went to his home in Goganpani of Ghanteshwar VDC-1 in Doti district regarding a news.



It has been confirmed that a group of 4-5 persons had visited Oli at his home on Saturday night to talk about a news about the financial irregularities in a drinking water project built in Ghanteshwar, police informed. The group included Sobhan Oli, chairman of the project´s construction committee, Yogendra Deuba and Mahendra Malla.



Police said Oli was not abducted but could have been mistreated. He added that they are trying to find out if Oli could have been hiding somewhere.
