PALPA, July 8: A minor has died after being hit by a jeep in the district on Friday.
According to the District Police, Palpa, a seven-year-old Aman Sinjali of Foksingkot-8 died after a speeding jeep knocked him.

The jeep, Lu 1 ja 1788, heading to Birkot from district headquarters Tansen, struck Sinjali at Tahu VDC-6 while he was playing on the road. Seriously injured Sinjali breathed his last on the way to hospital.
Police have started investigation into the case after taking the driver under control.
