“The meeting decided to seek work performance evaluations, observations reports and other required documents for discussion in another meeting on Monday,” said JC Secretary Jeewan Hari Adhikari.

“This is the first time the council has formally sought such reports for discussion.” Adhikari maintained that the council would also hold discussion on remarks registered aganst judges.

Similarly, the council meeting decided to put on hold 21 complaints registered against judges on a range of issues as per recommendation of a probe panel.

“The council meeting took the decision as the probe panel found that the 21 complaints registered against judges were baseless,” he said adding that the panel has been studying remaining complaints.

The meeting also decided to urge the government to provide land for construction of a office building for the council.
