Japanese ambassador presents credential

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Newly appointed Japanese ambassador to Nepal, Masashi Ogawa, has presented the Letter of Credence to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav Thursday afternoon amid a ceremony at President office, Shital Niwas.



Issuing a press statement on Thursday, the Japanese embassy in Kathmandu informed about the credential presentation. Ogaawa appointed ambassador to Nepal replacing Kunio Takahasi. Ogawa, a seasoned Japanese diplomat  had joined Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1979.



Ogawa  served as Director of Japan-China Economic Affairs Division and Special Coordinator of the Personnel Division at Japanese foreign ministry before being appointed as ambassador to Nepal.
