Japan to provide aid to three projects

KATHMANDU, Feb. 28: Japan has agreed to provide US$ 267,084 to projects run by three NGOs.



An agreement was signed between the Embassy of Japan, Spinal Cord Injury Association of Nepal (SCIAN), Janata Higher Secondary School (JHSS) of Udayapur and Siddhi Memorial Foundation (SMF) on Monday over Japanese aid.[break]



Acting Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Tadashi Fujiwara, Chairman of SMF Shyam Sundar Dhauvadel, Chief of SCIAN Hari Krishna Sharma and Principal of JHSS Shiva Narayan Chaudhary signed the aid agreement letter.



On the occasion, Fujiwara said Japan is continuing its assistance to Nepal´s education and health sectors and expressed hope that it will help bring in improvement in poor people´s life.
