Amit Agrawal, CEO of Janaki Technology, said people interested to avail the service can fill up the details which they wish to include in their digital business card. “They will get a unique code which works as the identity of the person,” Agrawal said, adding that anyone who wishes to get the information can simply type the code and send it to 4001.
The company is launching this paper less technology on Saturday on the sidelines of Eco-Carnival being organized by Kathmandu University.
“We are targeting students, individuals and small business houses who can not afford the dedicated SMS service,” he said.
The service aims to provide different message apart from the card details like discount offers, new launch or any other services that needs promotion. “One can change the reply message or details of the card time and again,” he added.
The company has launched the beta version and plans to include more features in the future.
“Today, SMS is one of the most powerful tools of communication and by introducing service like this we want to promote SMS culture in the country,” he added.
Janaki Technology is an SMS based solution provider and has already launched various services like sparrow SMS and smart deals, among others.
