Local Dilli Bahadur Thapa informed one Chamare Rawal, 55, of Dime-5, Khurpa died of the seasonal flu. Rawal, who was suffering from cold, cough and fever since five days, died due to lack of treatment.
District Health Office said hundreds of patients suffering from flu in the VDC are receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, some 36 doctors have treated over 6,000 patients in flu-hit 15 VDS. Government officials have claimed the epidemic will be controlled soon.
