BIRATNAGAR, Dec 21: An intern doctor died after falling from a building of Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Amit Yadav of Rajbiraj Municipality–9, Jagdari, Saptari. According to police, Yadav fell from the fifth floor of a building near the main gate of Nobel Medical College at around 6:30 am.

He was found in a critical condition and immediately rushed to the hospital’s emergency ward for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries at 7:25 am, said Dipesh Rai, administrator of Nobel Teaching Hospital.
Yadav was working as an MBBS intern doctor at the same medical college.
Police said further investigation into the incident is underway. Based on preliminary findings, multiple aspects surrounding the cause of the fall are being examined.
