The sloganeering convicts submitted a memorandum letter to the chief district officer through the administration. For his part,the jailer of the prison--which has 80 prisoners, including eight women--says that the inmates are allowed to use the telephone twice a week and that they are allowed to meet visitors on Sundays and Thursdays.
