KATHMANDU, June 10: Ride-hailing platform inDrive has launched a new campaign titled “Drive Without Pressure” as it marks five years of operations in Nepal, according to a press release issued by the company.
The campaign, which will run from June to August 2026, highlights the platform's driver-focused approach, emphasizing flexibility, transparent earnings and greater control over working hours.
Since launching in Nepal, inDrive has operated on a peer-to-peer model that allows drivers and passengers to negotiate fares directly through the app. The company said the model is designed to give drivers more autonomy over ride selection, schedules and earnings.

“The past five years have been focused on building a platform that drivers can trust for the long term,” the press release quoted Sunita Jeemi Rai, senior driver operations specialist at inDrive Nepal, as saying.
According to the company, the campaign's message reflects growing discussions around working conditions and financial stability in Nepal's digital transport sector, where many drivers rely on ride-hailing services as a primary source of income.
As part of the initiative, inDrive is also launching the “Homecoming Meter”, a feature that will showcase stories of Nepalis who returned from foreign employment and rebuilt their livelihoods through platform-based work opportunities in Nepal.
The company said the initiative aims to contribute to broader discussions on labour migration, economic resilience and domestic income-generation opportunities.
inDrive said Nepal has become an important market for its South Asia operations and that it will continue focusing on sustainable growth and community engagement.
According to the company, the inDrive app has been downloaded more than 400 million times globally and currently operates in over 1,100 cities across 48 countries.
