Addressing a gathering of ex-Indian Army personnel in Butwal Friday, he said the Indian Government should treat equally to its past servicemen. He pledged maximum efforts on his part to ensure benefits to ex-Gurkhas at par with the Indians. Besides, he vowed to take initiatives for settling some of the bilateral problems through the government level.
Nepalis serving in the Indian Army have a significant role in consolidating the bilateral ties, he said, adding that Nepal and India were enjoying friendly relations since a long time and India would leave no stone unturned to strengthen this.
