The Ghode Jatra is known as the oldest festival celebrated in the country's cultural hub of Kathmandu valley.
On the day, Nepal Army showcased a grade parade of its cavalry might with various games involving horses. President Ram Baran Yadav, Vice-President Parmanand Jha, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, Acting Chief Justice, Kalyan Shrestha, Speaker Subash Nembang, chiefs of the constitutional bodies and other dignitaries observed the festival.
