The anti-graft body filed corruption case against 12 MoFE enployees, 19 manpower entrepreneurs, a broker and a printing press operator who allegedly printed the fake documents.The accused are undersecretary Ramaji Prasad Baral, section officers Sidhharaj Chataut, Gambhir Singh Bista, Prithvi Raj Tiwari, Tirthraj Poudel, Laxman Prasad Shrestha, Damodar Dahal and Jayaram Nepal. Likewise the other accused are nayab subba Kabiraj Upaddhyay and Padam Bahadur Shahi and translators Sadare Alam and Abdul sabur.
In the charge sheet, the CIAA has sought a maximum punishment in line with clause 22 of the corruption Prevention Act 2002 and a fine of Rs 3.3 million from them.
