"The government has invited the disgruntled parties for talks with an aim to resolve the ongoing political stalemate through dialogues. Despite our efforts, no talks have been held yet,” the letter says. “It is clear that the incumbent government was formed with the sole responsibility of holding Constituent Assembly elections. It has made all efforts to hold CA elections on November 19 in a free, fair and conducive environment.”
The government and the High Level Political Committee (HLPC) have been urging the protesting parties, including the Baidya-led alliance to come for the talks to settle their concerns and join the election process.
