Govt approves APF staff college

KATHMANDU, April 12: A nine-month preparations of the Armed Police Force for operating a staff college finally bore fruit on Sunday with the government's approval. The staff college is a professional training center considered as the highest-level in the international armed arena.

The international standard training center will be operated under Humanities and Sociology faculty of Tribhuvan University (TU). The centre has already received an approval from TU.

A maximum of 40 APF staff will participate in the training program that will run for one and half years. This is the highest-level of training in APF for officers promoted to DSP.
