KATHMANDU, July 19: Bishnu Lama, one of the accused in Gothatar shootig incident, surrendered to the police after five months of hiding on Monday.
Police said Lama, a key member of the ´Ganesh Lama´ group which is allegedly involved in different urban crimes, surrendered himself at the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu.
An 8-year-old schoolboy, Santosh Karki, was killed in the Gothatar shooting when the accused opened indiscriminate firing over a petty neighborhood dispute on January 20.
Bishnu´s surrender comes a few days after the main accused in the incident, Ratna Lama, was arrested from Kavre.
