Gold, silver prices continue to dip in Nepali market

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold fell by Rs 6,500 per tola, settling at Rs 275,500 per tola on Monday.

KATHMANDU, March 23: Gold and silver prices saw a notable decline in the Nepali market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold fell by Rs 6,500 per tola, settling at Rs 275,500 per tola on Monday. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 282,000 per tola.


Silver prices also dropped. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,540 per tola on Sunday, fell by Rs 115 to Rs 4,425 per tola on Monday, FENEGOSIDA said.
