KATHMANDU, March 16: The price of gold rose by Rs 100 per tola, reaching Rs 3,09,500 per tola on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 3,09,400 per tola.

In contrast, the price of silver fell by Rs 5 per tola on Monday, trading at Rs 5,265 per tola, down from Rs 5,270 per tola on Sunday, FENEGOSIDA added.
