Gang vandalizes Dalima Resort

CHITWAN, March 9: An unidentified gang vandalized a highway resort on Tuesday evening causing a loss of Rs. 10 million.



A group of 30 to 40 people who reached the Dalima Resort at Kurintar of Chitwan district in a bus vandalized rooms, kitchen, bar and restaurant of the resort.[break]



The resort has 31 guest rooms. According to an employee, all rooms, amenities in the rooms and windows were damaged in the attack.



Police has estimated a loss of seven million rupees whereas the resort has filed a complaint estimating the loss at Rs. 10m.



The attackers snatched mobile phones of all 14 employees and put them at a place during the attack. They took an employee with them who returned two hours later.
