Fringe parties disrupt parliament

KATHMANDU, May 23: The parliamentarians of 14 fringe parties disrupted the proceedings of the legislature parliament on Sunday afternoon.



They chanted slogans for the term extension of the Constituent Assembly (CA) around the rostrum forcing the house to be postponed for some time.[break]



They began chanting slogans after CP Mainali of Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Lenninist) and Prakash Chandra Lohani of Rastriya Janashakti Party spoke in favor of CA term extension.



The proceeding will resume later on Sunday.
