KATHMANDU, April 20: The Federal Alliance, which is chalking out new protest plan to press the government to address its demands, has clarified that the fresh protest won’t unleash hardship on the general public.

A meeting of Federal Alliance on Wednesday gave final touch to the protest plan, but it has not been unveiled.

“We have finalized the protest plan,” General Secretary of Sadhbhawana Party, Manish Suman told Republica Online, “Newer protests will be made public after a meeting tomorrow.”

A leader preferring anonymity said that the meeting of the alliance will likely unveil protests on Thursday.

Federal Alliance Secretariat had earlier suggested the top leaders to organize awareness programs in first phase and programs to press the government in second phase.

Some 25 political parties including those representing the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) are in the alliance.
