A fresh jolt with 4 in the Richter scale with its epicenter in Dolakha has struck after 30 hours and 13 minutes on Tuesday. It was felt at 10:48 am today.
According to National Seismological Center (NSC), the 4-magnituge tremor was recorded at 4:35 am yesterday with its epicenter in Sindhupalchowk while one jolt had struck at 1:54 pm with its epicenter in Lamjung on May 31.
On May 30, three aftershocks were recorded while five aftershocks had been felt on May 29.
Similarly, seven tremors were felt on May 28 while four aftershocks had been recorded on May 27.
As many as 294 aftershocks have occurred so far following the 7.6 earthquake on April 25, with its epicenter in Gorkha.
Even though NSC records tremors above 2 in the Richter scale, it posts tremors only above 4-magnitude following the direction from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to Director General Sarbajeet Mahato, over 30,000 jolts have been recorded following the mega earthquake on April 25.
