Four journalists awarded

KATHMANDU: Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) has awarded four journalists for their contributions to alleviating poverty.



 Dailekh-based journalist of Nagarik daily Govinda KC, Himal Khabarpatrika´s journalist Prabhat Bhattarai, reporter of the Kathmandu Post Rajesh Khanal and journalist of Sindhulimadhi FM Uma Poudel were awarded at a function organized on Wednesday. [break]



Chairman of Election Council Khil Raj Regmi on Wednesday had awarded each with a cash prize of Rs 40,000. PAF also has launched e-chautari service for disseminating information about the programs via SMS service.



Spokesperson for PAF Shree Ram Subedi said the service embraces the latest technology in service delivery.
