KATHMANDU, June 7: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 151.62 and the selling rate at Rs 152.22.
The euro is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 176.47 and a selling rate of Rs 177.17, while the British pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 204.25 for buying and Rs 205.06 for selling. The Swiss franc is valued at Rs 192.51 for buying and Rs 193.27 for selling.

Similarly, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 108.29 and a selling rate of Rs 108.72, the Canadian dollar Rs 109.25 and Rs 109.68, and the Singapore dollar Rs 118.15 and Rs 118.62, respectively. The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen have been set at Rs 9.48 and Rs 9.52, while one Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.41 and Rs 22.50. The Saudi riyal is being exchanged at Rs 40.38 for buying and Rs 40.54 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.62 and Rs 41.79.
According to NRB, the Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.65 for buying and Rs 4.67 for selling, the UAE dirham at Rs 41.28 and Rs 41.45, and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.64 and Rs 37.79. The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won have been set at Rs 9.85 and Rs 9.89. Likewise, the Swedish krona is trading at Rs 16.24 and Rs 16.30, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.61 and Rs 23.70.
The central bank has fixed the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.35 for buying and Rs 19.43 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has been set at Rs 493.96 and Rs 495.91, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 402.07 and Rs 403.66, and the Omani riyal at Rs 393.80 and Rs 395.36. For Indian currency, the buying rate for INR 100 has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may differ from those published by the central bank. Updated exchange rates are available on the NRB website.
