KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has said its attention has been drawn towards the incident of kidnapping of FNJ´s Council Member Paras Timsina.
Jhapa chapter of FNJ said two unknown persons on motorcycle kidnapped Timsina blindfolding him from Birta bazaar on September 3 and threatened him with life within two hours if he writes news.
FNJ has demanded the administration take action against those who are involved in the abduction case saying it is against freedom of press and expression.
