KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has condemned a 10 day long strike announced by an alliance of 33 political parties that begins on November 11.

Issuing a statement on Thursday, FNCCI appealed to the concerned parties to call off the strike saying that such activities directly hit the country’s economy. Moreover, the federation said that such activities will take the country further back in terms of economic development, right when it is heading toward the CA elections. [break]

FNCCI has also urged the government to hold talks with the agitating parties and address their ‘deserving demands’.
