FinMin meets ADB DG

KATHMANDU, June 5: Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat on Thursday met Director General of Asian Development Bank (ADB) H Kim.

Amid the meeting, the duo had discussion on International Donors Conference on June 25 and the role of ADB in reconstruction process in Nepal. Previously, ADB had announced donation worth Rs 20 billion to Nepal's reconstruction process.

Finance Minister had informed Kim that the country would need up to Rs 1,000 billion amid reconstruction process. The duo had also discussed on possibility of additional donation from ADB.
