The Maoists had decided to privatize vehicles used by the party leaders and register those used in the cantonments as government vehicles last June.
The Maoists altogether have 96 vehicles. Those vehicles were registered in the department of transport management with the separate number plates after the peace process.
"Today [Thursday] Roka Magar handed over his vehicle. We will collect details of other vehicles soon," said Madhu Bilas Pandit, joint secretary at Special Committee Secretariat.
